Spare wheel on W211 420CDI

Hello everybody,

I would like to get rid of the TyreKit (I do not like this solution) that is on my car 420CDI W211 2008 and replace it by a normal spare wheel (not a foldable tyre nor a thin wheel)

Can some one tell me if this is feasible and advisable?

and may be post some pictures of that arrangement on a similar car that has a normal spare wheel.

present tyres dimensions 245/45/17 (front and rear)

thanks in advance.

In deed I made a typing error in the title (429CDI in stead of 420CDI). That is now corrected.

But NOBODY can help?

regards

I don't know if I can help, but I can tell you that when I bought winter tires for my car I tried dropping in one of the original tires to use as a spare, and it would not allow the trunk floor to go down all the way. So I doubt if it's feasible, but the sure way to tell would be to jack up the car, take off a wheel, and see if it will fit.
