Questions, water pump and radio

I'm looking at the service sheet for the E350 and I don't see when I need to change the water pump. Can anyone tell me when/how often the water pump should be replaced?

Regarding the radio controls. On the steering wheel control, the UP and Down arrow, while in radio mode, it cycles to the next available channel, not the next Preset value. Is this something that can be setup or do I only have the option to do that by pressing the physical buttons on the command unit itself?
