Lowering a 4matic
Also, i plan on slapping 20" rims on this E350. Should i even bother with lowering and will affect clearance?
Any input?
Make sure you get the Mercedes camber correction bolts (also known as: "crash bolts").
My car was the non sport package so I bought the H&R sport springs for the non sport package (non 4matic).
To buck all the rules, I even run the staggered 18" AMG sport package wheels with no I'll effect. Just make sure you get tires that are the same circumference.
As for the ride with stock shocks, it feels like a BMW 5 series vs a MB. I really like it. Not nearly as harsh as my wife's 2012 C300 4matic with factory AMG sport package and 17" wheels.
I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
