I think the new 5 (E60) will help BMW boosting sales ONLY for the first year -- same as the 7 (E65/66) did. After that, BMW is going to suffer in sales for the rest of cycle until the new designs come out -- pretty sure they are not from Chris Bangle anymore because his taste is adhead of most of his customers'.

I just saw the pictures from the autospies for new 6 (E63/64). It is pathetic doom -- following 7 (E65/66), Z4 (E85), 5 (E60). We will see the same kinds of news soon.
