changes for 2004 E500?

Does anyone know the changes and available new options for the 2004 E500 in the US?

Here is what I've heard so far?
1) 7 Speed transmission
2) Navigation
3) New colors? -- Could use a good blue

Here are my questions/rumors?
1) Available rear heated seats
2) Blue tooth integrated phone
3) satellite radio
4) Napa leather\
5) Adaptive head lights

sl and M-class E320 4Matic SLK350
changes

Satellite radio, dvd Nav, addition of color "granite" and sometime during the 2004 model year (likely Fall 2003) the 7 speed tranny on the E500 only. This seems to be about all that is confirmed on your list. Looks like Nav (dvd) is a no go on all but the E Class and the heated rear seats remain an overseas option only. Oh- the sports package has reportedly been retermed as "appearance package" and of course there is the addition of 4-Matic. The new brouchures are supposedly at the printers now so in a few weeks we should all know for sure.

Re: changes for 2004 E500?

The biggest change between 2004 compare 2003 model, heard from my service advisor, is that the 2004 will be more reliable than the previous year model !.
The 7 speed forward, 2 speed reverse is not a proven transmission. As Mercedes, BMW, and Microsoft have shown, the first few years are for beta testing :-)
