Question Sensor Location for Outside Temp. Guage?

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know where this is located?

On a really sunny day I can get readings of 120F, so I'm guessing it must in a place that is a "solar collector" (granted the actual temp. is about 100f, but stil...)

Note that these sensors are normally on the bottom of the car, and therefore are registering the heat from the pavement which is normally much warmer in the summer then the actual air temperature.

Slightly off topic but since I started this what the heck!

I assume that the four "electirc eyes" behind the mirror
are light sensors and/or the garage door transmitters ?

eyes behind the mirror are for the rain-sensing wipers. They increased the number of sensors to 4 this year.

I think that the temp sensor is in front of the car, at the bottom of the skirts, near the fog lamp. You can probably see a probe sticking slightly out ...

The light sensor for headlight activation is located on the bonnet, right in the middle, near the windsreen.
