09 W211 NTG2.5 navi issue
Searched and got nowhere. I just retrofitted the US NTG2.5. However it still thinks its in California and the car is Florida.
No antenna connections issues, getting plenty of satellite connections... Everything else works great.
Do I have to keep driving around for it to update the location on map?

Don't have an answer, but can you explain how you did this? Also, why was it necessary to retrofit a 2009 NTG 2.5 to a 2009 car?

Wow, I didn't realize there were US-Spec models sold after 2006 that didn't come with Navi standard.

You can look into the Engineering Menu: hangup, *, 6 or the Dealer Menu: Hangup, 7, 9.
For some reason your GPS isn't connecting to your local satellites.
I've found this site, http://www.mercupgrades.com/, usefull when working with the Mercedes Nav systems so you may find something here or even reach out to one of thier techs.
Sorry I don't have a more definitive answer, hope you get it fixed.
