Now my car is sitting in the lot waiting for the shop to come and get it monday morning. Please help me out what could they have done so wrong to my car!? all i wanted was a simple oil change any help would be greatly appreciated just so i know what to say to these guys when i tear them a new one!

Well, our E500's have airmatic suspension, basically electronically height controlled "airbags"
The height can be adjusted electronically. But they shouldn't have touched anything that would've messed up your suspension height. Just tell them that and ask them what they did.
They could've messed it up, but it also could've been a coincidence where your airbag strut(s) broke/died because they tend to do that.

Your airmatic suspension may have a leak or the compressor is going bad. Def take it to the shop for diagnosis. I would look into arnott shocks for front and rear instead of getting Mercedes replacement shocks!

Where was the oil change performed? A dealership, indy, or quick lube place? So the vehicle is down on all four corners. Did it rise when you started the engine? Could you hear the compressor running?
I've read some older threads about jacking the vehicle. When the suspension is reloaded and it's not done with the engine on and done incrementally, others have experienced a suspension failure.

had it done at a local mechanic shop that claims they work on mercedes all the time. is it possiable that when they put it on the lift they some how may have clipped a line to cause a leak?

From 03 to 05 are known to have air suspension problems. Hopefully its just a hose with a leak, and the compressor isn't fried from continuous pumping... forum search tool (or big wallet) is your friend.. also try and go to a benz indy mechanic for everything, as it has been my experience that the generic shops often times DON'T know what they are doing... like disabling the SBC brake system prior to brake jobs, etc....
