e270 cdi egr valve

hi fellas im totally new to this sort off thing andthis is my first merc and allready im having trouble

basically my car is going into limp mode and when i have checked the car on diagnostics its come up with egr valve left postioner or something

i was wondering if it was possible to black the egr valve off so tht this fault can dissapear

another fault which came up was torque converter power exceeded anyone know what this means

Sounds like you have lots going on.

One thing for sure the positioner fault has nothing to do with the transmission torque converter fault.

If the positioner is faulty it is easy to replace. The torque converter issue is quite different. Do you have the capability to check fluid levels/temps.

If I were you I would find an indy with a good DAS Xentry diagnostic system and have him do a quick test(insist on a copy of the test) and go from there.

Hi. I bought a EGR emulator from mbmaster2009 on ebay, easy to install and i have had NO problems at all afterwards. MPG increased, better torques and no fault codes, RECOMMENDED!!
