Fix for vibrating cooling fan?
Is there a fix for the vibration of the cooling fan without changing when it goes on(I dont want to change the setting cause I am in a hot climate an would rather have it run than something to overheat)

I asked about the fan (E320) at my last service and had posted it here earlier. The fan size causes the sound and makes you aware it is on, but there's no "fix" to make it quieter or to come on at a different temp without risking overheat. The upside is that it's very effective and quickly cools the engine. Mine is loud but there's no indication it is unbalanced or has any obvious problem. Inside, I can tell it's on but it is not obtrusive.

My CLK 500 had a engine cooling fan vibration when the high speed came on. The dealer had to install a new fan (blades out of balance, if you look you'll see tiny weights on theblades) and resecured the fittings of the fan shroud to the radiator. There is a TSB the will allow the dealer to lower the high speed setting a notch or two but I declined living in South Florida. The 211 BTW has a much better fan set up vs the 209.
