I'm canceling the item (CoolStream) right now through Amazon. Is there a seller here in US of this ml-d100 adapter? I found it only on ebay from south Korea. How about other Brand?? Is this the only Bluetooth Receiver that works in 2008 E350? I found at bestbuy this one:
Aluratek - 30-Pin Bluetooth Audio Receiver
I will try to see if this one works. I dont want ot wait 2 weeks until the ml-d100 adapter arrives.
Thanks,
Dan.

UPDATE!
OK I have bought this Bluetooth adapter from BestBuy called
Aluratek - 30-Pin Bluetooth Audio Receiver and It works fine in the 2008 MB E350 except it does NOT show the songs on the cluster or the stereo display. My S3 connects automatically to the adapter and it plays music just fine.I change music or songs from the phone which is fine with me.

Right now I have a apple lightening to 30 pin adapter plugged into the MI 30 pin cable, and a 4ft lightening extension cable plugged into the apple adapter hanging out of the glove box (glove still closes) Its not the most elegant solution, but it works. Bluetooth is always something I thought about, and I have 3 different types of these bluetooth adapters, but you have to plug a charger into your phone anyway right? So what the point? I understand if you use android, but not if you are an iPhone user.

This bluetooth adapter gets charged from the iPod cable in the glove box and if my Galaxy s3's battery is charged I can play for hours. And yes of course I need to charge the phone using a lighter charger for my S3, so I don't really know what's the best solution for you. My problem was that I couldn't stream music in the car, so this bluetooth addition makes this possible.

How were you playing music from the S3 prior to buying this adapter? Were you using the AUX plug in the glove compartment?

Although one less cable would be nice, I'm just going to leave it the way it is for the time being. I don't feel like pulling my console apart again to remove the radio.

I just bought the Music Link MD -100 for my 2010 S Class. Unfortunately, although I can get the device to pair with my I Phone 4S, the command screen on the S Class is stuck on activating device when I try to activate music interface. Is there some other way to get this device to work on this car and be able to stream Pandora. It seems others have done so but my command is stuck on activating device.

will also work, but will not show names of song on command. Music is controlled by your phone only.

I sold my w211 and have the music link ML-100 Bluetooth adaptor available. This thing worked perfect for those with the OEM iPod connection in their glove box. It showed “Bluetooth” in the Odometer and allowed changing of songs through the steering wheel controls. This was the closest I ever got to Bluetooth audio in the w211 and it has served well over the years. Let me know if you’re interested.

I've had this since 2017.
Works like what is described above. Phone connects to this for audio streaming via pandora/spotify...etc. Since I have Android it doesn't display titles in the gauge cluster. My wife's Iphone it does.
When a call comes through the car's BT picks up and it goes through that. Once I hang up the music picks back up. Zero issues. We have a 2009 w211 e350.
