Cartronics Itronic for sale
I have an Cartronics iTronic with bluetooth and iPod support. The unit also has an auxiliary input for any device with audio outputs. This unit works in Mercedes Benz with Audio 50 head units. Whether or not it works with other Mercedes head units, I am not sure. This unit integrates with the Audio 50 and COMMAND as if it were factory installed. Contact names will show up on the Audio 50 screen, as well as in the heads up display (between speedometer and tachometer 2003-2007 Mercedes). All steering wheel functions work perfectly. This unit was designed to replace the six-disc changer installed in many 2003-2007 Mercedes cars. Five playlists on your iPod or iPhone will replace discs 1-5, and disc six will act as the auxiliary input/ bluetooth streaming function. Each playlist may contain up to 99 tracks. If you know anything about these units, Cartronics went out of business and these units are hard to come by these days. The unit supports factory-like iPod integration very similar to DICE units. I can guarantee that this unit worked with my 2003 E320 with Audio 50. It will work with any Audio 50 that supports CD changer control. The unit includes a Parrot bluetooth Microphone, and the sound quality is excellent. Also included is the iPod cable, AUX cable, fiber optic cables, and power cable. MBWorld.org and other Mercedes Forums explain these units in detail. Purchased for $900 direct from Cartronics earlier this year. I sold the car and removed it prior. Can send pics if interested.
$500 or Best Offer. Includes free ground shipping in the lower 48.

MBWorld Fanatic!
The company Cartronics is out of business so no warranty or support or replacement parts. How old is the unit? Was it installed in a car; if so, what model and year?

I bought the unit back in Feb of 2012. It had a one year warranty, but since the company is out of business, I guess it's a moot point.
It was installed in a 2003 e-320 with audio 50 unit. You actually lose the cd changer installing this unit, so I removed mine and installed the MB sunglasses case that fits where the cd changer would be installed. I'll include it as well.
Was pretty easy to install, the YouTube videos are pretty straight forward. Let me know what kind of radio you have and I'll try and answer some questions you may have. I spent a lot of time researching this before I purchased and this unit was the best option for a clean factory install. If you have a comand unit, it will display playlists on your iPod.
Thanks for asking.

Cartronics iTronic for Sale Mercedes
I just got a new Mercedes and traded my 2005 E320 toward the new car. I removed my Cartronics iTronic unit before trading my car. This unit was installed by Cartronics a few years back and provided hands free Bluetooth and iPod integration. Worked flawlessly when it was removed from my car on 2/9/2013. I will accept any reasonable offers. Write to me with an email address and I can send you pictures. Offering this to the MBWorld first before doing a general eBay auction. I was told by the now deceased Cartronics owner (who did my install personally) this unit also works in a 997 Porsche. Thanks, Bob

I also have one of these.. I'm not happy with it.. the volume emitted is 70% of the radio/cd/aux volume when I'm using BT.. I'd like another solution and will sell this one if anyone is interested.. otherwise it's worked great. I was told MB has an amplifier.. but I've not seen the correct PN to order ..

Searching the forums now.. but also wanted to bump this? Any other replacements for the cartronics that don't reduce volume? my radio volume is 200-300% louder than the Ipod Volume via bluetooth..
What other adapters work that plug in and provide BT?

Yes, it provides Bluetooth hands free for your telephone. The model I have for sale also provides a wired iPod interface. You can somewhat control the iPod from your head unit, but there is a setting so you can select playlists/songs/etc. from the iPod itself - which I preferred and found to be easier.

iTronic BT
Sorry, I already sold this unit to another person. I can confirm to you if you really have a 2005 E320 (W211), this unit was perfect for the car and worked flawlessly. Hope you can find another one.
