W211 auto start-stop add-on
Dear W211'ers,
I've installed an automation of start-stop on a BMW E46d and a Ford Focus, using the installed starter and keeping the traditional flooded batteries. I will now do the same on my W211 220cdi.
It's not as fancy as a plug-in module, but it's still very DIY possible.
On both installed vehicles it's a box (7X7X4cm) near the ECU...
Is anyone interested in this? Provided I'm not liable for damage incurred, I'll make freely available all schematics, layouts, FW and fitting instructions for a successful start-stop DIY.
