VMI Request
Can anyone help me get a VMI on my car?
Checked with the dealer and I have a pending SCN update but they refused to say more. I don't wan't to drive 3 hrs to wait 4 hrs if its for something like better odometer accuracy...

When I went in to ask about ordering some parts I spoke with the service rep about scheduling transmission service, the service rep practically volunteered the VMI to me without my asking. So you may have to make the drive anyway to get some face time.
Don't know what a SCN update is but if you don't have any current issues or urgent maintenance that needs to be done just take a drive. I was also able to get the VMI from my indy shop and another dealer by emailing to ask about maintenance. It worked for me probably because they want my business. Your mileage may vary but worth a shot.
I had emailed MB directly in NJ and got a call back but didn't really get any info.
