Dynavin-like head unit
Hey everyone,
I just wanted let everyone know that I have completely scrapped my MOST network and installed a custom amp and headunit in my '07 ml350 and I am planning on doing it in my e320. I got the headunit from cars-electronics.com and it has so much more functionality than the mercedes comand unit. Only problem was the harness it came with resulted in horrible quality sound.... So I did the next logical thing and scrapped the MOST network lol !!!! I was very leery about it but as I did more and more research it wasn't so bad and now I have a kickass sound system with a very functional headunit. I have gps, handsfree bt, streaming bt sound, usb connection, two sd card slots, dvd player, movie player, backup camera, and fm/am radio. I also still have steering wheel controls. I used two JL audio XD600-6 amps for the speakers. Pics to follow. I know it was in an ml350 but doing it in a e320 probably isnt all that different accept the antenna and speaker harness are in the trunk instead of under the drivers seat.
