2006 E320 CDI Suspension - Anyone have a set of 2009 W211 Sport Springs?
I purchased a daily driver E320 CDI for work reasons and I wanted to make it a little stiffer after re-building the suspension busings, ball joints and shocks. I went with HD shocks and I removed the shims in the rear to bring it down a bit. Up front I had my tech adjust the ride height down with the front strut adjustment but the springs are just too soft for my tastes.
My issue is I dont want to go with lowering springs as thats too low for good tire life. My goal would be to get a set of 2009 E350 springs from a sport package car and call it a day.
Has anyone done anythig like this to an non sport package E320 CDI (usa spec). I think with my stiffer struts and the E350 sport springs it should be a fair bit better.
I have SL55 18 inch amg wheels on the car with 245/275 tires already so the ride is starting to come together already.
Send me your thoughts or ideas and let me know if you have a set of springs I could buy second hand.
I already purchased a set of E500 brake calipers so one of these days this E320 CDI will finally be like a european spec E320 CDI Sport.

I don't have any answers for you but I would like to do the same to my recently purchased 2005 E320 CDI.
Love the car but a little soft for my taste. Like youself, I don't want to lower it, just make it a tad stiffer & reduce body roll.
I was thinking aftermarket sway bars..anybody done just the bars?
