Looking to up grade to a big brake kit on my 09 E350 4matic, Help?.lol
Hi everyone,
Not only am I new to your site here but also new to being a MB owner. I just bought my first MB and I'm very happy with it already. The car is a 2009 MB E350 4matic (all wheel drive) with the AMG sport package and I'm wanting to start adding some up grades but having some trouble find the most important thing I want and that is an aftermarket big caliper brake kit, something like the Brembo kits but so far I have heard from many others that Brembo doesn't make a kit for the E350 4matic's....is this true? and if it is what other options are out there?
Will the brake calipers off a (lets say) 2004 or 2006 E55 amg fit or maybe some E63's? has anyone tried to do that? I really can't stand the stock looking calipers on the 09 E350 4matic's. There must be some options out there, NO?
I'm almost ready to just buy a set of E55 or E63's because I love the look of those too and see if they are close and I can maybe just fabricate some brackets to make them fit (the right way, like from a machinist...lol.)
I guess I could start with some used rotors from the E55's and E63's and see if there close first but was hoping someone could tell me something helpful so any ideas?
