Dash lights...headlight in use lamp

2012 E63 Bi Turbo
Dash lights...headlight in use lamp
Have 04 E55, in the rev counter there is a blue full beam indicator light and in my brothers 05 E55 a green indicator for lights on. Was this a feature in 04 models or not added til later....?
If it should be there how does one remove the instrument cluster for bulb replacement.?
Have used search engine without joy on this model.

06 E55(SOLD), 03 E500(SOLD)
It was added in 05 I think. Although my 03 has the headlight on lamp because the instrument cluster was replaced.
