Late 2007 e280 headlamp levelling problem

Just fitted a genuine new MB drivers side headlamp at huge cost, now the light only looks at the floor! So I had a chap with a Star interrogate the ECU and it said it needs an SNC code? So where do I go from here and how much more is it going to cost!

you can adjust the level if the headlamp yourself with the car parked facing a wall. Do you have xenon?

E280 headlamp problem

Thanks for reply, the headlamps are Xenon and apparently the ecu has to be interrogated to tell the headlamp where zero is. We tried to do this with a STAR machine but the machine said it needs an SNC code only available at main dealer? So how much is that going to cost on top of the already £600 odd for the headlamp unit?
