W211 E200 remote key problem

Hi, I have a Mercedes w211 estate 2003 model that has had a lot of electrical problems. When I bought the car many of the control units were defective, and I have changed the rear sam, battery control unit and climate control panel. The control units were all burnt probably because of high voltage or something when trying to jump start the car. Now everything seems to be working again but the remote wont open and close the doorlocks except when I hold it close to the door and its using the ir signal. I have tried both keys so I dont think thats the problem, and I have checked the wires and connectors to the antenna amplifier on the left side. Any ideas?
