hello everyone
i need an advice on exhaust. i m total noob in that subject. i have 04 e320 4matic. I am looking at used 2006 e55 exhaust for 800$. now is it worth installing it on 6 cylinder. i am looking for raspy sound or may be good exhaust note nothing ricer. also i dont want to add muffler or anything that would make it more pricey. i want to do this modification under budget
Also i know for installation i need to cut the bumper but apart from that is there anything else that needs to be done and is the amg exhaust direct bolt on to e320 or there are modifications that need to be done.
I looked through forums but all of them were incomplete so i didnt really find the answers that i was looking for.

if you cut the resonators out and add x-pipe sounds really good... or do straight pipes and you'll get raspier
depends on how much of the exhaust you get, that will determine the amount of fab work you will have to do but it'll all hang the same

The Exhaust will bolt on with some work.As AMG sells a complete kit mufflers hangers and reducers for the exhaust.The exhaust is larger dia on the AMG models so you will need to make or buy the reducers so that the mufflers will fit also the AMG models use a reinforced muffler hanger.
I bought the kit from AMG complete with TUV paperwork for the wife's 211.
Then all that is required is a AMG or sport rear bumper
