e62 w211 exhaust pic with label
Hey all,
Trying to delete the resonators on my 2008 w211 e63. Went to a few local shops... one guy did not know where the resonator was... left there. Another guy said the pipes are SS and he can not weld. Last guy said he does not have SS pipe... he can use aluminized and weld it.
So questions is... is the exhaust SS? If SS can I replace with aluminized straight pipe?
Anybody have a pic showing the exhaust (tried searching did not find) with labels?
Thanks for any input.

Hit up Jimmy at Royal Muffler he will take care of this and while you are there you will see a CL 63 with what you want done and then some. He did my E55 exhaust with an Xpipe. He is a little far and a little pricey but he will get the job done and done right. Tell him Walter with the Silver E350 he just did sent you.

Yes I'm happy with mine. No drone at all in low speeds and the car feels a bit torqueier.
