WHats up everyone... Im new to MB world but i've been reading from this forum for like 10000 years. For the past month ive been noticing that when im driving on the free way, theres a slight vibration on the driver side floor... Along with that irritating scenario, I have this weird ticking under the hood. Im not sure if it the belt, fuel injectors or etc..
Ive just added some Techron and filled up my tank (Premium of course).... Just Bought new spark plugs (Bosch double platinum) and will be installing them soon. Check out the two videos and tell me what you think... The first video seems to me that the motor is loose. The second vid has a weird ticking noise around the engine.

That video def makes me feel better about my engine mounts.... WHat do you think about the second vid Ozusa.... Is that normal (purge valve activity) as others would say or am I looking at an issue in the future?

It didn't sound that strange to me....
Generally, I would consider an underhood ticking to be either valves, worn idler/tensioner gear on the accessories belt, the steering pump or the aircon. My hearing is not fantastic, so I can't really tell. Sorry.

a familiar clicking sound
When I initially acquired my '09 E350 (2 years old w/10K miles), I detected a clicking sound...only discernible at idle. It sounded just like a bad lifter (remember those days, boys?). The dealership immediately diagnosed it as the purge valve and said the clicking noise is definitely normal.
The purge valve is located behind the driver's side headlight unit, kind of buried down low.
When you grab it (with the engine running), you will definitely "feel" the clicking besides hearing it, of course.

the sound is a more pronounced directly behind the engine (closer to the driver, opposite from the front of the car)... Still purge valve?
