Mercedes W211, E220 CDI - Transmission/Engine problem!
Hi,
I hope for some assistance and help, cause it's highly important for me.
Well, let's describe the problem. I have owned the car for 6 years now. I have had problem regarding buzzing, vibration and shaking in the car. It has a automatic gearbox.
I had SBC problem that occured for about 3 weeks ago.Cost me quite alot, and now this problem has reoccured.
Ok, I have had this problem now and then, but not that big. It could start vibrate and buzz in very low RPM, then by pushing the gass a bit it stopped. It happened mostly in low gear, low RPM and low speed. Now it is crazy bad. You can for the most part "feel" that the car doesn't go well. I drove in 60 km/h today and you could feel the vibration and buzzing so bad. And you can feel the buzzing and vibration going under my seat and towards the exhaust.
Also, when I drive home, I have a veeeery short uphill road towards my garage, very, so when I let the throttle go so it goes idle to the garage, I can feel the engine start shaking, and you can feel it is about to be suffocated, just like if it were a manual, when you doesn't change right. But it always survives, but it's a bad feeling though.
Any opinions or thoughts around this? I really need help. What can be the problem? Could it be a serious problem? Please help!

check engine mounts first, then check all exhaust manifold points including cat convertor mounting points. I had a similar experience with a rattling noise and it turned out that the mount of the cat that is near the transmission broke right off and caused the rattle.

I do not know if this will help, however I would take the car back to the SBC mechanic and ask him to check the transmission fluid level. I suspect the torque converter is making the buzzing sound.
The vibration could be all sorts of things----does it vibrate only while moving or does it vibrate at idle and moving? Good Luck

Well, when moving. When it is not moving, it doesn't. It acts 'normal', so to say. But when the car moves on idle, it does. Also when pushing the gas very slowly and gently, you can basically 'feel' that it is about to buzz/jump/hump a little bit. So freaking annoying. You feel you have to drive HARD, to avoid the problem, and that's not a good thing.

I have Mercedes e220 diesel when ever I start the engine it just keep cranking and won't start I changed crank sensor and pumper and injectors and still nothing happen I just can start it up if I put some pitrol in the whaler
