Chrome Exhaust Tips for E320 the same as S Class?

Chrome Exhaust Tips for E320 the same as S Class?
I thought I read somewhere on this board that the chrome tips that are being sold at Performance Products for the W211 E Class are the same as those avail for the 00-03 S Class. Is this true?

The reason I ask is that I've come across a pair of tips for the S class at a reasonable price (less than Performance Products) and will pull the trigger if they are compatable with my E.

I've confirmed from another board that the tips are in fact the same, and are interchangeable between the new S (00-03) and the new E (03--)

I never got them. I got cold feet, and I'm hoping that someone will get them and, at some point, post a picture.

My concern is the same as most: I'm afraid it will look aftermarket w/o proper cut-outs in the bottom part of the bumper for the tips...

LAKERHOLIC-

How do they look on the S car without cutouts ? I share your feeling of not having a Pep Boys special with duals.

I cannot tell from the shots in Performance Parts if they look tacked on or not...........any opinions?
