Just installed a driver's side mirror I got from Lithuania on ebay. I was anticipating a flat mirror with the portion outside the dotted vertical line to be convex for blind spots. Turns out the entire mirror is convex and similar to the standard USA passenger side mirror, but without the warning about objects being closer. The portion outside the line I guess is even more convex, but it's hard to tell. It's going to take a little time to get used to objects being smaller in the left mirror. Is this the way all of these mirrors with the lines are or is it convex because it was possibly made for the passenger side of a UK car?
