Is There A Consensus About The Preferred CPS Replacement Manufacturer Or Source?
If there is a manufacturer or parts warehouse that the board prefers to support, I'd like to know so can start doing business with them instead of just finding where I can get parts the cheapest,er.... most inexpensively.
I figure if I'm going to be more active and not just lurking on the forum, I should get with the program on what companies you guys use.
Just my limited involvement here has really helped in the last year. This forum is an example of what the internet is really good for.

I wonder about the OEM CPS. It seems like a CPS should last longer than 7 years... this isn't a normal maintenance item. I understand that stuff happens, but it seems to be a common issue based on what I've read here.
I'd love to keep driving my low mileage E500 for at least another decade. Was this just a bad batch of CPS units or is this a replacement interval I can expect in the future?
