i have a 2006 e-360. well after 6 or so years i think im going to need to change the accessory/courtesy battery. is there anything i need to know before i change it...ie do i have to unplug the main battery...etc..etc

What leads you to believe that the battery needs changing??

 

well so far, the last 2 times that i have started the car, the instrument cluster message says that the courtesy is temp turned off. hey maybe im wrong, but seems to me that this is taking less and less intervals between starts when this message appears.
