W211 COMAND Problem
Hi everyone,
I have a problem with my W211 E220 (53 plate) Estate.
The COMAND system is stuck on the MB logo and nothing else appears on the screen. It also stays on when the ignition is turned off and so I have to turn it off via the button. When on the radio/cd works, as do the buttons and I can switch between the radio & AUX input etc due to knowing the sequence of buttons to press but the screen remains on the MB logo.
As a remedy I have tried pulling fuses 003, 006, 040 & 041 but non of them seem to turn off the power to the unit in order to try & reset/restart it.
Any ideas? Maybe disconnect the battery? If so is there a procedure to do this or can I just disconnect, wait a minute and then reconnect? Or is there another fuse I should try?
