2004 E320 - Intermittent 'whirring' noise from Radiator fan

2004 E320 - Intermittent 'whirring' noise from Radiator fan
Hi,

I have an intermittent 'Whirring' noise coming from the radiator fan on my 2004 E320. It seams to switch on and off every few seconds.

This may account for the 'Whirring' noise of the fan as it keeps starting up and then stopping almost immediately.

Any clues for a fix???
