Question E500 Sport Wheels

Does anyone know what Sport Wheels would cost at the dealer? I'm going to sell mine (went to 18" AMGs) and I would just like a reference point. Obviously not a starting point just a reference point so as to figure a fair price.

Thanks

STKLAW

2003 Mercedes-Benz E500
I took my car to a wheel shop right next to House of Import in Buena Park, CA
The guy I talked to said he'd give me $800 for my Sport Package rims + the tires if I buy new rims from him...
I think he offered $750 at first.. but we got it to $800.. but I don't have enough money to buy new rims yet.. hehe
I'm pretty sure you can get higher... he agreed on the $800 very easily..
Another option is to just keep the sport package rims... and put them back on when you sell the car...
Anyways, good luck.. and keep us informed on the price you get if you do sell them...

STKLAW - you should call your dealer and ask for a price on the sport wheels for a reference point. I remember when I had them install the 18" IVs they wanted to buy my Sports, saying that many buyers of E's don't get the sport package but want the wheels and (this may have been BS) they can't sell or order sport wheels for cars without the sport package. I'm holding on to mine (sports) for now because when I sell or trade for my E55 this fall, I may put them back one and keep the 18"s for a spare set or sell them seperately. mp

$1000

Im asking $1000 for mine, and they have maybe 20 miles on them.I did the same with the sport package rims on my 2000 e430 sport, when I switched to 18' monoblocks.1 grand seems to be the going rate locally for stock rims/tires,but then again there is always someone that will pay more.I'm sticking with a thousand and if I have to ship,I would just charge them shipping. What do you think STK?

I think 1K should move them. I'll bet if you checked to see how much to replace them it would be almost double from MB. I have seen folks mention selling wheels and tires for $1500 on this site. Don't know if they got it. Are you going to list on ebay?
