The New 4Matic
I was wondering if anyone has any idea when MB plans on introducing the new E320 with the 4MATIC option? I remember remember when the W210 was launched in '96 the 4MATIC opiton was not available in the U.S. market until '98. Also, does anyone know if a diesel variant will hit U.S. showrooms?

As usual the 4matic version of the new Eclass will be about a year after the intro of the rear drive model. Summer of '03 as a '04 model.
I sell MB in PA. We are told that MB has no plans to sell diesels in the US again.

E CLASS 4 matic
I've ordered a 2004 E class E320 4matic. My dealer claims I will have the car next summer. The market introduction is supposed to be in March of 2003.
But Mercedes may decide to move ahead its production dates for the 4matic. From what I understand, the E55 was pushed forward and we may see that this fall!
