Brakes: What am I missing here? (pics attached)

Guys,

This is my first post, and i need some help.

I recently purchased this vehicle from a local dealership (Nissan) and was doing some cleaning yesterday and notice my brakes look to have something missing.

Looking at the caliper, there looks to be some type of cover not attached. There are threaded mounts on the back side that are open as well.

I know very little about brakes and need to get some opinion on what the best course of action is for this situation. Obviously going back to the dealership and raising hell might be my next step, but I really don't expect much from them given it's been about 3-4 weeks since I purchased this from them. However, I am going to try.

See the attached pics.

Thanks in advance for your help!

This place is a joke.
There is nothing missing. You may be seeing the threaded holes for the break wear indicator, which is on one side of the car and not the other. That is normal.

I'm pretty sure both front pads have wear sensors. If they are the fronts you are showing, then you are missing a sensor. Your light should be on though

This place is a joke.
Depending on the year, some have sensors on both sides, some not, some models have no sensors at all on the rear. I believe starting in 2007 the 211 has only 1 sensor on the front.
