Aux Jack/Port in the glovebox...Where do I get a new one?
Hi everyone. Recently when I plugged in my phone and my ipod the sound only comes from the right side of the car. I thought I needed a new aux cable so I bought a brand new one but it didn't do anything. Got it diagnosed and the electronics guy told me I need a new jack/port that's located in the glovebox. Problem is that when I went to the mercedes dealer today the parts guy told me they don't sell the aux jack/port by itself and that I would have to buy the whole wiring assembly which is ridiculous. Do any of you know where I can get just a new aux jack/port that would fit in the glovebox? It's for an 07 E550.

try Radio Shack. Show them the male end you use and tell them what you need and they can match it up. You will have to install the new end by taking out the glove box which is fairly easy and you will see the wiring then.
