DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHAT THIS IS???
My brother recently bought this E500 from a local dealer and we have know idea what it is. The dealer said they bought it from the auction that way. It did have a line going to the top of the air filter cover.

okay I figured it out, its a oil catch can. Would you guys advise on reattaching the line to the intake manifold?

Yes, I would recommend re-attaching the line. I would also recommend a new catch can, as that has to be the ugliest one I have ever seen.

LOLit is pretty ugly. I think my brother just might get rid of it all together.

I agree that it looks pretty awful. I told my brother I would be more than happy to get rid of it for him.
