Lexus with 2007 E350 Bumper...I need help!

Good evening,
I made an account on this forum because my friends who own MB said this was the place to go to for information. I hope I don't get bashed here but I have a 2001 Lexus GS430 with an 07 E350 Sport? front bumper. I am looking for a front lip for this bumper and have had no luck besides various carbon fiber ones on ebay and other sites. They seem to just be one model. I apologize if I have not searched all corners of the internet. I am trying to find out what is out there as far as front lip choices. I would prefer non carbon fiber as it will probably hit the ground during driving and I drive my car on a daily basis. If I posted on the wrong forum please forward me to the correct one and I do apologize. There are some beautiful cars here and hopefully someday I can "officially" join this forum. Thanks again!

E350 bumper on a Lexus... that's a first. Not really sure what to think of that, but you have a nice car. I hope you get to buy a Mercedes one day as well. Nevertheless, welcome to the forum. Not quite sure why the material matters when it comes to it scraping on the ground, that is more dependent on the style and how low your car is already - unless you're implying you've only seen one style of carbon fiber lip.

I have an 07 E550 with Sport Package you have a few options as far as a lower lip is concerned:

-Contact forum member JBSpeed, he has one on his thread
-Contact forum member Gary from Suvneer, he might be selling painted ones

yeah someone hit me so I decided to do something a little different but not too crazy...a Mercedes isnt really out of the question, I just dont know what to expect in buying one...maintenance and cost and all that. I have been wanting an E class AMG for a while or an S Class 02-05? I think? As far as the material, it doesnt really matter that much but CF is just too pretty for me to mess up all the time, and a lot of the ones I see online are carbon fiber. Thank you for the information, I will msg those members!

Sorry I meant to get you some links along with that but I was busy and got caught up in other things.

As far as picking up a Mercedes, and E-Class AMG would be a lot of fun and much more agile to drive than an earlier S-Class. The main thing about owning a German car is that even though you pay more for maintenance, service intervals are a lot further apart and thus you end up taking it in less. Parts on the other hand, are very expensive (comparatively) but if you know where to get them or find lifetime warranty components it isn't too bad. Any AMG will be more expensive to maintain but they are excellent cars that last forever. Certain model years should be avoided from both models but if you have any more questions in the future as to what to buy we can certainly help you.

For sure man, hopefully within the next few days if you don't find anything I can get you some links just have to search through some of the old threads I had bookmarked. Maybe get some other members to chime in, which usually takes a day or so.

Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead but the Navy has kept me busy the last few months. So after months of searching I cant really find much lip variety for the front bumper that I have. I will suck it up anyways but do you guys have any experience with the JL Motoring products? I am interested in buying these
http://www.jl-motoring.com/Mercedes_...p/mbfs1105.htm
I contacted them via email a few days ago from the website but did not receive a response yet. I also messaged the company this. I just want to make sure that they are still making those products since I don't seem to see much on the forums. I also see mixed reviews on certain products so just trying to find a more educated opinion than mine. Thanks again!

vip. that's wassup. i'd smooth out the pointy part of the front bumper tho. that'd flow a lot better. thinking about going vip style on my 211..we'll see.

anyway, regarding that lip. there's a cat on the boards that goes by scratchyhalo and he's rocking that lip. hit him up on the boards here or at mbjunkies.com

yeah...i thought about it a few times as far as the point and what we were going to do...the E350 sport bumper is just too pointy...and would have been really hard to take off...so instead he just did a slight line in the middle of the Lexus half...it took me a while to get used to it...im still not used to it...but I needed my car back since its my daily lol. im pretty satisfied with it lol...thanks for the help on the lip, ill talk to him.

LOL!...thanks man...I hit up JL Motoring but I haven't heard a reply. I'd like to buy it soon but don't want to wait for them to make it. Hoping its in stock. I hit up another company but I think he only has a lip for an E55.

Hope it works out for you, and yeah I've been looking for a lip too and it's hard because of all the different trims/styles of facelift/pre-facelift W211s with different packages and slightly different bumper styles.

I ordered a lip today from Suvneer? Spoke to a guy named Gary...pretty easy transaction. Was told there are no returns since the front bumper is sorta custom. I am cool with that, im taking a risk anyways lol. I spoke to my body guy and he said there should be no problem since the bottom part of the Benz bumper wasn't altered. I should receive it by next week Monday, I'll post pictures when I get it on. Thanks for all those who helped!

P.S. I am tempted to buy an E55 AMG omg...those r so nice lol...

Hope you end up getting one! Gary from Suvneer is definitely a trustworthy vendor on this forum, and pretty much the authority on selling front bumpers and some lips. You shouldn't have any problems

funny, someone on the boards by the handle of scratchyhalo (cesar) knows of your car. apparently his bodyshop or some place worked on your car or something like that. are you out in bakersfield by any chance?
