So I have had my car three days now and love it. One of the only things wrong with it when I bought it was mildly curb rashed wheels. I got a quote for wheel refinishing at about $500 for all 4 but then found some new 17' aftermarket wheels on eBay which the seller claimed fit my 03 E 500, price was right, $460 delivered. Last night, after ordering I noticed on this forum that the stock wheel width is 8.5 inches for my particular wheel, and also noticed the width on the ones I ordered are 7.5" I plan on using the stok 245/45 tires - is this going to look funny?

 

what are the off sets on the new set? you might have a slightly sunk look, you can also run spacers but i wouldn't worry about it too much

 

I managed to catch the wheels before they shipped them and got a full refund, I found a set of Voxx Maglia wheels, 17x8 with a 40HSM I assume the HSM is the spacing. Is this a good fit, I know the are 1/2 narrower than stock but I can live with that

they are here - just wish they had the MB emblem in the center
