I currently in a dilema and would like some advice before i proceed and spend more money. I drive a 2007 E550 (luxury package) and this is the newer facelift in the W211. I purchased the AMG style front bumper for the car (the one on the 2009 E350 Sport). It appears that this was not an EXACT bolt on. I have to change to left and right plastic pieces on the inside.

My question: anyone who have done this conversion, what other components did you change? If you have a 2003-2006 and did this conversion and know its a completley different setup. But from 2007+ it cannot be that different. Did you change the absorbers? all plastic pieces? What other parts did you change?

Pretty sure amg utilizes wider front fenders also. You may as well sell yours and by an amg. There cheap enough now. That way you can go real fast while looking pimp ;-)

 

I am not getting the E63 kit.

I have the Sport Kit on the 2009. It does not use wider front fenders.
