question for V- 60 users

I didn't notice this with my "original" E500, and don't know if it's a verizon thing or the car. It seems since I got the replacement the service has been awful in the same areas where it has always been great. The other odd thing is that the signal strength on the screen will read 1 bar, but if I flip open the phone it will be 4-5 bars. Anyone else notice this?

Definitely sounds like a lemon

Was yours installed at the factory? If anything the reception should be a bit better (since the software is upgraded) You may want to take it in to see the dealer.

My phone has way too many bugs, and although my service is fine (I also have Verizon), I often have to reboot my phone, and/or the entire console to get things right. Just one of the many wonderful things about the electronics in my E.

The phone in the old car used to lock up all the time. I'd have to wait a few seconds when I first started it before I turned on the radio! The phone was a factory job, but they used my existing phone and handset and just swapped it into the new car.

Yep--that sounds suspiciously familiar. You need to go see your dealer about this.
