So everything stock and I plug this in and get that hp? Is it just plug and play?

I believe it. Most of the ECUs are tuned very conservatively based on emissions concerns and all. Similar tunes (a bit more expensive) from EuroCharged and such will bring you up to over 405.

 

Is anyone else familiar with this company? I'm a skeptic of anyone dropping in with an almost non-existent post count linking to a company that is selling something.

 

OE tuning is well established. Check out the reviews for the C63 tunes in the amg section.

 

I have the 2003 E500. Deciding between these guys and EuroCharged. Not sure which is better.

 

Eurocharged is more expensive, but they do very elevation and application specific tuning, and it's more of a complete package from what I understand. Now that doesn't really matter as much to you at sealevel I assume but here in Colorado it certainly is a major consideration - getting a custom tune so I am maximizing horsepower and minimizing running too rich or too lean at nearly 6000ft above sea level. If you have the money go with Eurocharged and you won't be disappointed.

remote tune for Up to 2006 models. 2007 and newer will need to send the ecu or purchase a remote handheld.

 

OE Tuning has proven results with dynographs to support gains.

$495 everyday pricing (install can be done at any flash dealer location) +$200 for flashloader.
