I know this has probably been discussed many times before, but my searches are turning up short...

I have an E550 sport (amg sport package) and would like to put the w211 e63 exhaust tips onto the car -- no desire to change out the pipes or anything, just swap out the tips...

As I have the the amg pkg, which currently sports the rectangular amg exhaust, would any bumper cutting be necessary to add on the dual tips to each side?

Also, would you anticipate that swapping out just the tips would have any positive or negative impact to the sound or back pressure?
