Question Location of low pressure side Schrader valve

I am unsure of location of recharge valve (low pressure side) for my 2007 E320 Bluetec sedan; there is one clearly visible valve close to driver's side hood hinge, but not if this is correct. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

This is for an A/C refrigerant recharge correct?

This was the designation I was provided with for the 2007 E320 Bluetec; if it is incorrect and the designation is W210, then so it is. If the latter, where is the low pressure valve located ? Thank you

Normally for any recharge of 134 refrigerant the low side is easy identified by the size of the quick release fitting. This should be if using gauges the blue/low side pressure hose and will be the smaller of the two pressure fittings.

Low side - generally on line cap has an (L) to indicate pressure fitting. Also the low side pressure fitting will only accept a low side quick release fitting.

Thank you; the one visible cap is not marked (and is attached to the small diameter refrigerant line). There appears to be considerable variability in the possible location of the other valve.

A quick call to a MB dealer could provide/verify pressure line location. Just a thought.

^+1 to the information above. However, if you are using one of the store-bought canisters with the single gauge be warned you will very easily damage the A/C system as you need a dual-gauge setup to assess both high and low system pressure as well as regulate the exact amount of refrigerant you put in. The correct amount is crucial in modern cars so if you don't have the equipment to meter that, then have a professional do it.
