knocking sound

13 E350 , 12 BMW 328i
knocking sound
on the driver side, as I turn the wheel from a complete stop, whether its right or left and or when I am parallel parking, I hear a knocking sound, only on the left side.. so this is what I done so far:
replace upper control arm ball joint
replace lower thrust arm with ball joint
lastly just replaced lower ball joint
I still have the knocking sound !!!
I am out of idea's, has anyone also encounter this?

Out Of Control!!
Great, however we still don't know if it's caused by steering or suspension.The only way to determine that is to put the car on a drive on lift(not a four point lift) and have someone stand under the car and you turn the wheels and the person standing locates the noise.

Did you guys figure out whats causing that knocking noise?
I have the same knocking sound while turning the wheel to left. Cant figure it out either and I don't have access to a lift.

Out Of Control!!
Most of us, if not all do not have a garage with a lift, what I meant is take the car to an alignment shop---which usually have lifts----meaning you have to spend some money to locate the problem-----whether you let them fix the problem is your choice!!
PS: Additionally we have never heard the sound, yet you indicate that you have the same knocking noise---and I guess that you have now assumed the same problem-----do you see anything wrong with that picture!!

I have the same issue and I have replaced the 4 pieces of power steering bushing recently, the knocking sound is gone.

thanks hongkong w211 , would you happen to have pics of what pieces you replaced? this way I know what to order. thanks or a diagram would be sufficient.

Sorry Dacollector! Aftet the three days keep testing, very strange, the knocking sound is came back today, I will further investigate what's happened and report to you all.
