W211 2005 CDI headlight Issue
anyone had the same issue. heres the story.
Driver Side inner headlamp does not work. The Parking light.
the headlight/ high beams, turn signals everything works but the parking light
the light bulb itself it all good. the socket is also not the problem nor is the fuse.
i did notice that my rear parking light works alot brighter than my passenger side one though. as if all the power is going to the rear and not split into the front and the rear.
also i do not get a message that something is wrong with it. or any messages.
so no message. not the fuse. not the bulb, rear driver working brighter than passenger.

On the W211 you can choose between Left and Right parking lamps. Notice there are two settings to the left of the OFF position.
This is meant to be used for street parking, to make your car visible to traffic. The side facing the curb should not be illuminated.
Both sides should be illuminated when you use the parking light option between the AUTO and ON positions.

The extra bright rear tail lamp is the rear Fog Light. Be sure your headlight switch is not turned to the left of center (12 o'clock) and is not pulled out at all.
Also, check the proper operation of your lights outside at night.
