Reduce oil level readout when checking oil because I park slightly uphill?
In my garage, I park with the front very slightly slanted uphill with the car in the high suspension mode to get in and out without scratching the bottom of it. When I checked the oil after waiting some time after driving it said to reduce the oil level. If it were really too much, wouldn't it come on while driving?

After 3mos of playing with the Computer I am still trying to find the elusive oil level indicator.....can anyone assist?
I told the dealer it is pretty sad when I can close my eyes and run thru the multi tasking screens, panel button and switches on a Boeing 777 and still I am running like a 4th grader going thru the MB.
Derek.

Frank- It's probably the hill, have you tried testing it on level ground?
Atlanta E500- It's the same submenu as the one that displays when the next scheduled service is. You must have the key on the "on" position with the car turned OFF. Then scroll up and down that submenu until you see the engine oil measurement screen come up.
