While I was feeling for scratches underneath the front bumper of my 2009 E350 (W211), I felt something really loose, and with a little effort, this tiny piece of metal came off. I went to the other side and the same thing happened. Can somebody tell me what this is and will I be able to put it back? Thank you.

Looks like a clip 011 988 69 78-------six used up front and four on the rear bumper.

If the car is used to you, my guess is someone or body was futzing with the front bumper and forgot something!!

Take the part and the above part number to a dealer and have him confirm!!
