Depends on if it is an option on your E class. Are you able to push the mirrors and feel spring tension in either direction? If so, then you do not have folding mirrors. Don't pull/push to hard, just enough to find out or you might break off your mirror..

My previous 2003 E500, I have to manually push it toward the back. Don't worry about pushing too hard, it will give. I recall that the mirror can be folded in both ways.

Correct. They manually fold, but with spring tension that will revert then to stock position unless something physically holds them in the folded position. Our you can upgrade and install power folding mirrors. All you need is the mirrors, interior panel with button, and the coding for it enabled in STAR.
