Hi- I have an E320 wagon (my husband drives this MB Now) and the trunk will not open with the key fob.

If you try you hear a noise likes it's trying to open but nothing happens. You can open/close it manually.

Any easy-to-try suggestions before taking car in for service & is it a problem to open/close manually?

There are no easy-to-try suggestions with the MB central locking system. Just make sure you don't go to Seattle Sam's----go to someone with good diagnostics, preferably DAS Xentry and the problem will be resolved quickly!!
