E420 CDI - Ceramic Brake pads?

I want to replace the brake pads on my 2007 E420 CDI with "low dust" ones, like EBCs Redstuff or similar, but it seems these are available for just about all cars in the world except the E420 CDI

Anyone out there with knowledge of "low-dust" brake pad options for the E420 CDI?

Although some mfg have reformulated their pad material with whiter and smaller granules---the granules still come off or you would ruin your rotors before you got home.

You will still need to clean. The good news is that you are paying a premium price for pads with little or no improvement in efficiency----welcome to American marketing---you just got screwed!!

Don't know about low dust break pads. I heard Akebono are "low dust", but never had any personal experience with the product.

OT, but just looked up an E420 CDI and the thing is bad ***. Twin turbo diesel V8? Probably offsets the orbital rotation a bit when you floor it with all the torque.

Guess that makes sence - as long as there is wear the stuff will always end up on my shiny rims.
Will stick to washing frequently

Yes, didn't plan on buying the car, but could not resist after a test drive
730 Nm of torque equals 235 hp available at 2200 rpm, rising to 314 hp at 3600 rpm.
With close to no engine noise in the cabin - really hard to tell it is a diesel - the feeling when hitting the right pedal is really something

Next up is fitting the original AMG rear exhaust I got with the car to let some of the nice V8 sound escape - just need to replace the rear bumper with an AMG 63 to make them fit. That will also give away that this is not just another 2,2 litre diesel - which covers 98% of the Norwegian market
