Star Diagnostic Help
I am new to the MB world coming from years of Porsches and Land Rovers. Attached is my new ride - 2007 E320 Bluetec.
I picked up a Star Diagnostic and having trouble connecting. I am getting the attached errors. Anyone that has experience with these tools have any ideas?

What is your voltage showing? You cut that off on your screen shot. I've read and followed the suggestion to use a battery charger while connected to the multiplexer.
Do you have a solid connection from the OBDII connection under the steering wheel to the multiplexer to the computer, and is the LED on the multiplexor illuminated?

As Plutoe said, sometimes you must contact the seller to get certain keys generated before it will work. Sometimes this is not made 100% clear when you buy the system.
I have long felt that "Miss Daimler" would make a ton of money if they sold STAR licenses, locked to a single VIN and MUX for even $200/year so that 'enthusiasts' and DIYers could amuse themselves properly. They could even say "out of factory warranty vehicles only"
But in the mean time Miss Daimler will keep us busy trying to repair more than our cars!

Thanks for all the advice. Working through the issue with the seller. Hopefully will have working shortly. Definitely more complicated than the Bosch KTS300 that I use on my 1990 Porsche.
